The Musette in D Major from the Anna Magdalena Bach Notebook has been played by piano students for centuries. Unfortunately it has just enough technical challenges that most of those performances are not very inspiring!

I've just released a piano tutorial that will help you refine your piano technique so you can play the Musette with creativity and expression, while maintaining control and a beautiful tone.

And it's not that hard! Check out the tutorial here.

And when you want to truly understand the harmonies of a piano piece like the Musette, make sure you've worked through my course Play and Sing in Harmony, available here. Understanding harmony will help you play with even more freedom. Whether it's a piece of music someone else composed, or you're improvising and creating your own music.
